Hello Friends.
Life on tour in 2022 has been utterly delightful so far, but continues to have its hitches.

Unfortunately, we are going to have to postpone / reschedule the upcoming shows in Austria.
Believe me this isn’t something I want to do, but in this new world we all find ourselves in, the team and I feel that everyone would be better served if we push the shows back until later in the year.

We’re working on the details of that now, announcing asap, and will make sure we make it up to our Austrian friends.

Unfortunately that also means we’ll have to reschedule the Nuremberg show as well, as that’s in the middle of the Austrian run. Same rules apply - we’ll get it back on the books as soon as we can.

Apologies again for this, I know it’s not ideal, but as ever, we are just trying to make things work as best we can in the still-weird world we live in. Hope you all understand. Peace.

Dennoch kann ein derart von der Kunst und dem konzertanten Kollektiverlebnis Getriebener wie Frank Turner auch in Zeiten eines Lockdowns nicht einfach untätig daheim sitzen und Gitarrenläufe üben. Entsprechend dürfte man kaum Artists finden, die sich ihr Publikum in den zurück liegenden Monaten derart regelmäßig und extensiv per Livestream ins heimische Wohnzimmer holten. Auch dabei ging es nicht nur ums Musik machen, sondern um einen existenziellen Mehrwert: Im Rahmen seiner zahllosen, teils spontan anberaumten Livevideo-Sessions sammelte er knapp 300.000 britische Pfund ein zur Unterstützung und Rettung zahlloser kleiner Liveclubs in ganz Großbritannien (sowie einigen internationalen Clubs, darunter auch das Hamburger Molotow) - ein Engagement, für das er mit dem bedeutenden „Music Venues Trust Award“ ausgezeichnet wurde für sein „Outstanding Achievement for Grassroots Music Venues“. Denn auch, wenn Turner nun schon seit vielen Jahren und Tourneen meist die größeren Hallen füllt, weiß er, wo er herkommt und was ein „Punkrocker by heart“ seiner Szene und Subkultur schuldig ist.
